There's been a bit of comotion at the Sooke council chambers lately, a couple of weeks ago CRD staff were explaining there strategic parks plan and to my surprise Sooke mayor Janet Evans was first out of the gate to question Jeff Ward of CRD Parks about were are the offroaders supposed to go in the new parks plan, the rest of council followed suit . following are some links to the stories in the local papers
I think that the pressure is going to continue to mount on CRD staff as to what to do with the offroad comunity, we all can help by writing letters to CRD parks, your local news paper, and Sooke Mayor and council, The more people they hear from the better, our voices do not go unheard. also see Terrance Martin,s facebook site "people who want offroad access" his group has over 1000 supporters on it , add your name to.Thanks for listening.
