The weather wasn't to hot nor was it to cold. Dave Horner and Len Orrico laid out the route,Don Hatton provided his shop for the start and finish. Don and his wife own Duncan Motorcycles, along with the coffee shop Kick Start located next door ,serving up great coffee and tasty treats. The shop carries everything you could imagine for motorcycling, including new road bikes, dual sport, dirt bikes and quads. Canada Day Dual sport ride, started with 25 riders signed up,first rider out at 10:30,lunch break was at Lake Cowichan whistle stop pub, most riders made arrived around noon. After lunch riders headed back through Lake Cowichan towards Duncan again but not before hitting some dusky trial sections. After the dust cleared riders finished there day, where it all started, back at Duncan Motorcycles. They enjoyed some much deserved refreshments. Len and Janice supplied tasty home baked cookies and water melon. Everyone arrived back safely with big dusty grins on their faces and many stories to be told. Only six DNF's for the day, nothing serious.
