1. NO Discriminating against all forms of motorized access is unreasonable. From an ecological standpoint motorized access does not necessarily harm the environment any more than walking or hiking does, a trials motorcycle has VERY soft/under-inflated tires and is ridden very slowly, trials motorcycles will not harm the trails. Sensible rules on noise and size/power/weight for motorized users would be supported but discrimination against all is not the smart/diverse/fair way to go
2. NO Discriminating against all forms of motorized access is unfair to the trail-builders (many of whom are motor-access patrons), it doesn't make sense from an ecological standpoint as many forms of motorized access do not harm the environment any more than walking/hiking.
3. NO Mostly, I do agree. This: "To remove invasive plants and animals." is a risky endeavor that could easily do more harm than good. Also we get back to the "all motorized vehicle" phrase (found here: "involves the use of motorized vehicles or equipment"). This is discriminatory, I don't have a problem with restricting noise but how will maintenance crews get to the trails, with a motor, how will they cut out trails, with motorized equipment. Why is this plan against ALL forms of motorized recreation, not just loud/destructive forms? Traditionally a lot of these areas have been open to motorized recreation and because of the actions of a SMALL minority this anti-motor policy is being pushed forward, that is discrimination and should be stopped.
