Payment

By proceeding with your payment, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your transaction.

  1. Acceptance of Terms
    By selecting the checkbox and making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Payment Processing
    Payments are securely processed through Stripe. We do not store any payment information on our servers.
  3. Refunds and Cancellations
    All payments are subject to our refund and cancellation policy. Please review our before making a purchase.
  4. Transaction Security
    We take security seriously and use industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your financial information. Billing and card information is encrypted in-transit to our payment processor. Complete card details are never stored on our server. Card type, expiration date, and the last four digits of the card are retained to enable us to process refunds. However, we are not responsible for unauthorized access or breaches beyond our control, including potential security vulnerabilities in 3rd party software or systems where a security update has not been issued by the responsible 3rd party. Users are exclusively responsible for ensuring that their devices, web browser, and internet connection are secure. The VMC will not be held liable should a breach occur as a result of a security issue with a user’s device or internet connections. Security issues include, but are not limited to, use of an unsecure public Wifi connection, use of a publicly shared device (e.g. library or workplace computer), use of a device or network compromised by malware, or use of an out of date or unsupported browser (e.g. Internet Explorer). The VMC strongly recommends that devices and web browsers are updated with the latest available security updates.
  5. Service Availability
    We do our best to ensure uninterrupted service. However, we are not responsible for payment processing delays caused by third-party service providers or unforeseen circumstances.
  6. Billing Information
    You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date billing and contact information. Incorrect details may result in transaction failure or delays.
  7. Legal Compliance
    You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to online payments and transactions.
  8. Changes to Terms
    We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the payment service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 3rd, 2025

Thank you for your membership renewal (or any other transaction as the case may be).

We value your membership and aim to provide a smooth refund process. Please read our refund policy carefully.

Eligibility for Refunds

  • Refund requests must be made within [10] days of the transaction date.
  • Only payments made through our authorized payment gateway Stripe are eligible for refunds.
  • To be eligible, you must provide proof of purchase and a valid reason for the refund request.

Non-Refundable Items/Services

  • Certain services or products may be non-refundable. These include but are not limited to:
    • Digital products or services once accessed or downloaded.
    • Subscription-based services after the billing period has started including, but not limited to annual VMC Membership Dues.
    • Any customized or personalized services.

Processing Time

  • The VMC will review your refund request and respond within 10 business days.
  • If approved, refunds will be processed within [30] business days.
  • The amount will be refunded via the original payment method.
  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Partial Refunds

  • In some cases, partial refunds may be granted for services/products that have been partially used or accessed.

Refund Denials

  • Refunds may be denied if:
    • The request is made outside the eligible time frame.
    • There is evidence of misuse or policy violation.
    • The product/service has been substantially used.

Changes to This Policy

  • We reserve the right to update this refund policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly.
